How can you describe Gebruder Heubach glass eyed pouty characters without repeating the phrase "the best" in the German character category.  This factory captured the look of the German child and was able to mold the likeness of a real child like no other doll maker.  This mold 6970 is a fine example and I will attempt to describe her.  To begin, her bisque is flawless and her blush color is evenly distributed on her chubby cheeks and fat-rolled double chin.  Her pale blue sleep eyes are semi-squinty, as many of the Heubach characters' eyes are.  She has feathered wispy brows and upper and lower lashes.  Her closed mouth is shaded in such a way that it appears she has a protruding tongue.  Her turned-up slightly wide nose is highlighted with red dots in the nostrils.  Nothing was forgotten when the artist began his tasks on this dreamy model!  And to add to her spectacular look, she has her original mohair wig in the original set and her original stamped Holtz-Masse fully jointed composition body.  Her clothing is all antique and tastefully adds to her German school girl look.  If you are a Heubach admirer, you will love this girl!
