This Fre A Steiner is incised A 13 and stamped A 13 Le Parisien Bte S.G.D.G. The cardboard pate sits under the fabulous antique long "tails" wig that reaches her waist. She is on her original straight wrist fully jointed Steiner body that still has a faint stamp on the hip.  Beautiful creamy bisque with no obvious impurities, lots of evenly stroked lashes and aligned brushed stroked brows. You will have to look hard to see there is a minor manufacturing squiggle line under the nose.  Closed mouth with outlined lips and those chubby cheeks that we all love in a Steiner. Her antique dress is made of light blue wool challis and is adorned in ecru French scalloped lace. Her bonnet is covered in pale blue silk with touches of feathers and lace. The look is complete with antique French shoes marked "C.M." and cotton antique socks. Beauty "personified!"
