Extraordinary and large example of the fine work produced by the porcelain factory of Dressel & Kister, c. 1890-1910, this lady has the "windblown" type of hairdo and very delicately painted features. The porcelain shoulder head and very graceful arms are attached to a period cloth stuffed lady body. The china shoulder plate is deep with molded busts. She has heavily molded gray hair with darker brush strokes, curls around her ears and an upward twist into a bun. We recently found this lovely antique two piece ensemble and she is exquisite in it. It is off the shoulders and reveals her neck, shoulder, busts and blush highlighting between the breasts. She is wearing antique leather shoes. The overall presentation is fabulous in this extraordinarily large size.
