This is an exceptionally pretty closed mouth pouty by J. D. Kestner. This is the mold #128, one of only two numbered closed mouth Kestner child dolls.  She has crisp modeling, pale creamy bisque and a very pouty expression. Her original plaster pate is in tact beneath a replacement mohair wig.  (We will need to remove the in-tact pate or drill a small hole in the plaster for stuffing the head during shipment.) She is on the "Excelsior" stamped Kestner body with original finish with the exception of light retouch of paint to the original hands. She has large brown glass sleep eyes. The clothing, underset, hat, shoes and socks are antique and she is carrying a darling bear muff.
