I am so pleased to be able to offer a Size 9 Bru Jne at an affordable price for the collector who does not mind a hidden hairline repair. She is marked Bru Jne 9 on the back of her head, Bru Jne on one shoulder and No. 9 on the other. She has the wide wrap around paperweight eyes, mauve shadowing above the eyes, a turned up nose and fabulous Bru outlined and shaded lips with the molded tongue. Her original kid Bru body has the gently shaped Bru hands with outlined nails. She is wearing Bru shoes and gorgeous French overlay over pale mint green Bru style dress. Her long curly antique mohair wig is full and hangs almost to her waist. Her right arm was either recovered or is a newly added leather arm to which her Bru hand is attached. The shape is identical to the original left arm which has a patch at the shoulder. Both gusseted knee joints have patches to re-enforce the seams where the leg bends. The firmly packed body is otherwise in sturdy shape without slumping or crouching. The hairline began at the back at the rim slightly on the left side and traveled under the ear and back up to the outer edge of the left eyeset. This can only be detected by using a light inside the head. It in no way affected the facial area and/or features. The shoulder plate has the molded breasts. The outstanding presence of this doll greatly outweighs the fact that she is not perfect.
