I do not recall ever seeing a better condition composition Scarlett O'Hara, circa: 1937. This doll has no crazing, was never undressed and has all of her original clothing, pantaloons, hoop, socks, side-snap shoes with cardboard flat heels and straw hat with the original floral array. Amazing but her wire hoop is not bent or mal-shaped as they most frequently are. There are no spots or holes in the dress fabric. The coloring is excellent with rosy cheeks and there is no chipping or cracking of the composition. Her original lashes are in tact and her green eyes are not foggy. She has her lightly stroked brows and lip color. No repaint or touchups, just a beautiful example of a Madame Alexander favorite.
