Doll 1829 - Lenci Lady Doll, All Original in Excellent Condition


Lenci is the top name in cloth art dolls according to Jan Foulke's Guide to Dolls. This example of their line of rarer long limb lady dolls exemplifies the reason. She is from the 1920's or 30's. She is all original and in crisp condition with only a couple of mini moth bites on her skirt. The colors are vivid with no fading. She holds a basket of felt flowers between two fingers. The third and fourth fingers are stitched together, a characteristic of Lenci. Her purple felt high heel slippers match the felt in her clothing. A fine investment doll for the future!
